DRD4 was born in 2023 at IDEP, a renowned fashion and design school in the heart of Barcelona. The name DRD4 headlined the final project of the postgraduate program in Fashion Management by its founder and current CEO, Virgilio Mejía Gómez a young, bold, and visionary entrepreneur originally from Venezuela, now based in Barcelona, Spain.
The DRD4 concept is rooted in building a community inspired by values such as adventure, creativity, and nostalgia, elements that form the DNA of a lifestyle defined by calm, intention, and simplicity. A philosophy where less is more, and quality always comes before quantity.
Our signature product is a premium T-shirt made of 100% cotton with a weight of 230gsm, designed specifically for the modern man. Depending on the season, our collections may also include curated accessories such as caps and bags, crafted locally in Spain with the same dedication to detail.
DRD4 currently operates from its own Design Studio located in the Catalan capital, where all creative direction, marketing, embroidery and garment production, promotion, and logistics are carried out in-house.
